The Shores of Alone

Cracking ever so slightly
the facade of "it's ok"
cracking, breaking, almost done
not much more that I can say.

Do not leave me broken now
truly I am made of glass
though I be your cup of wine
only so long can I last.

You must fill the glass a bit
sitting frozen by itself
if you wish your drink still there,
add a little wine yourself.

I once learned how to repair broken glass, so if you ever need to have that done..give me a word or two or better still smooth the edges and place them in a kaleidoscope and share your beautiful design.

This is really, really good Sandra. Great metaphor there. This speaks volumes

I will add the wine
slowly sipping each other
we are satisfied

To sip at the wine of love is truly the nectar of the Gods. Magnificent.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
