My Wine

Today I sip my wine of cast
From sweet and sour of my past
Grown of the earth and sun above
To taste the spirit of my love

The essence of epitome
Fermented by its alchemy.
A cup that’s filled with full of now
Poured and brood of pasts endow.

The taste is full upon my lips
This essence that my lips so sips
And I am close to ecstasy
This very simple chemistry

A pinch of this, a trace of that
A little loving and a pat
The silence and the touch of hand
Body’s language and understand.

By fusing the dichotomy
We overcome anatomy
And bridge the bridge where ever lies
Within the bend of human ties

Put your past in its proper place
And you will feel eternal grace.

Now that Sir was filled with one big jug of wisdom!  To hang onto anything that makes one feel badly is futile.  Once "it" is gone, like your fine wine, it's gone, and time to head to the future!  These two lines are probably the greatest and wisest lines I have read in a long time....
"Put your past in its proper place
And you will feel eternal grace."

Try giving your smile to someone who does not have one, and I bet you'll find another ~*~ Mysteria ~*~

The phrases you string
And wisdom, a bonus
you graciously bring
THank you

Seymour,

I have friends who are always encouraging me to put my past in its place. Maybe someday I will be able to do that and get on with my life.
