Trust me guys,   I have to work at this too....

What is true love?

True love is:
Waking, seeing you there beside me, smiling as I watch.
Looking at you as you do things, watching every move.
Seeing your happiness, knowing you gave it to her.
Seeing her sadness, holding and comforting her.

Seeing her faults as being human, not being wrong.
Forgiving harsh words, knowing they are not true.
Accepting criticism as growing, not as condemnation.
Listening to her, even when your favorite program is on.
Giving her little things though nothing special has occurred.

Letting her be right more often that she does you.
Always showing her respect, being your equal.
Calling her at times when it was not necessary.
Holding her close, whispering little things in her ear.
Kissing her softly on the back of her neck.

Being there always, even when away....Calling, caring.
Acting like young lovers every chance you have.
Never expecting it to be perfect, just wonderful.
Making sure everyone knows she is your life, not just your wife.

Yep, sounds like true love to me. Sounds like you've got it there.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Oh yes, you have it right. I guess it just takes work and sometimes we forget the true love doesn't always just happen. Both lovers need to do their part and it sure looks like you are doing yours. BRAVO!!!! A great read, Magnus. I love it.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Dawn,  I too hope you experience it again.
A wonderful feeling when you have it,  not so
when you do not.

Seems that sickness and health always contrast.

We give them all we can when they are sick
and too often not enough when we all are
well.  thank you Lady of S.
