There is this thing in me that fights--
a quill in ink of well of plight...
something in me picks at scabs--
to bleed for you the stuff of "AM."

No other place do I do this--
forked tongue of serpent's kiss--
confession be the blood of bliss-
words in play, the notes of Pan...

Calling song of Hercules
(see me now, upon my knees)
I will trade strife of symphony
for simple sonnet on demand.

Listen, love, to varied voice--
chill of charlatan's rejoice...
Listen, love, feel my hand near
my breath on ember--spark--revered...
I'll cradle you
within my hands
and burn my flesh
to understand
acrid scent
of skin in burn
is but the smell
of lessons learned...

I'll hold the coal
till bone shows through--
for there I find my strength--
in YOU.

YOU ARE POETRY K.A.
poetry in motion....
me

This distance has shown how the road remains alone
Now I'm looking in my life ... for a truth that is my own.
