From the Start By Larry Chadwick She was my first love, And dominated my mind. There when I woke up, Always easy to find. Confident my mom approved, Of the woman that I adored. Playing games could get old, But with her I could never be bored. It was certain from the day I was born, A romantic I was conceived to be. I didn’t stand a chance from the start, This was the way it would be for me. Positive that we would be married, I only needed to be bold. It didn’t matter she was eighteen, And I was just five years old. [This message has been edited by Larry C (edited 10-18-2001).] |

*giggling with delight* I was totally lost in the wonderful romance of this poem and then just about fell off my chair when I got to the end. This is magnificent. A truly delightful poem to read. Thank you so much for giving me the giggles tonight. Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

That is outrageously funny and cool! I remember hearing a term 'cradle snatcher'...but your situation was the reverse. What were you, the babysitter snatcher? LOL at this one, a good surprise ending. |

Midnitesun, Hey, I had a spell cast on me. It survives to this day. Ladies are the best and I have the greatest. But a romantic almost from birth. Unexplainable. Glad you liked the poem. Life can be enteraining, eh? |

Oh this is too cute. This brings back memories. How easily we fall in love when we're so little. (though come to think of it, nothing changes does it?) If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |
