Stepping off my balcony tonight
I look up at the star lit sky
They beckon to me, as though calling my name
I feel as though I could fly

Thoughts of you enter inside my head
As your love fills up my heart
I think about what lies ahead of us
The promise of our love and a new start

Enchanting lady of my dreams
You have now become my reality
I am amazed at the essence of you
I am captivated by your beauty

I long for your sweet kisses
As I breathe in deeply and sigh
Once again I look upwards
As I watch a star fall from the sky

I make my wish tonight
I want to be with you forever
Longing for the day
When we live in love together

Sweet lady of my heart
Do you have any idea the effect you have on me?
Do you know how my heart races at the mention of your name
Or how I feel you and I are simply meant to be

My soul once was weary
I felt I had no more desire to fight
But you gave wings to my soul
It has now taken flight

You've breathed new life into me
You've given me a hope I've never had
You bring sunshine to my everyday
Know just what to say, when I am feeling sad

More than just my lover
You're also a cherished friend
My heart once was tattered and torn
But, my heart you did mend

I am not sure if you realise
Just what exactly you to do me
But it is my intention to love you always
To show you what I see

I see a woman who is so beautiful
You swept my heart away
Stay with me always darlin
Whatever you do...please just stay

I am in love with you
There is no other way to say this
I dream of you every night
As I await the magic of your kiss

Looking towards our future
I see you and me deep in love
You make my heart soar highter than the birds
To the heavens I fly above

My life forever changed
The moment that I met you
Never to be the same
This love I feel has just grew

What started out as friendship
Has blossmed into so much more
I walked smack into love
I've opened a new door

Some days I walk around in a trance
As though I've taken some sort of drug
Everyone says I've been inflicted
With something called the love bug

I'm not sure what all it is
But I do know its love indeed
I've never wanted anyone so much
You, I do need

I sleep so that I can see you in my dreams
Soon though I will no longer have to close my eyes
I'll be able to see you everyday
I will get to feel the true effect of your heavenly sighs

Till then though my sweet lover
I shall continue to get lost in your love so true
Just forever know my darlin
Today, tommorrow, for always....I LOVE YOU....

*sigh* absolutely magnificent writing about love and how being first friends became a deeper love still. I love it. Romance at its finest. Very well written. Your lady is truly and completely loved.

I wanted to be sure and get my opinion in on
this poem. I absolutely loved it!! I think
you made it very clear your feelings for this
lady and i can guarantee that she feels the
