How can we see? This raging painful sea Of madness and pain Of vanity and black rain Of reason Lost and gained Under some veils of pretense How could we clap? As if we are watching Some play Where all the blood spilled Is just some chemicals We spray All the tears Are just some tasteless water We fake No trace of the salty taste Of pain How could we sit In silence? Watch In silence? As if we don’t see Is it simply ? That we think Our shores are safe From this raging black sea That could destroy all life And its mystery And give in turn Endless misery Perhaps we should think Of the ebbing and the flowing of the tide that what seems now so far from our side could turn come closer and makes us apart of this hellish ride. ------------------- |

STANDING OVATION!!!The passion of your poem cannot help but reminds us all that the horrors are not so far away and it is easier for it to reach our shores than we once thought. A masterpiece torn from your heart. Very well done. Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

(sad sigh) Such a heartbreaking and gloomy thought this is indeed! It is so hard to see and understand all the sorrow our hearts feel, and I pray as we further confront it, we can all learn to resolve them. (big hugggssssss) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

the only way that we can see my friend. . . is to open our eyes. . . and then. . . all shall be clear. . . I know that this is truly from your heart. . . well done. . . -------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

When will we LEARN is the question ricocheting around my mind... Patterns so old that they've dug trenches in our catch-22 lives -- throughout man's history, endless cycles of repetition of methods and actions which cause nothing more than suffering for the masses and "privilige" for the suppressors who could care less about humanity... The facts are so blatantly obvious and staring us in our naieve faces when we CHOOSE to SEE... but ignorance has always been bliss... until it's "too late"... How can we see? It starts by an opening of the mind, a desire for change, and action towards that goal. The masses have always outnumbered the "decision makers", but the masses have never been informed or organized so they have always been easily played against each other while those at the top continue in their soul-less, materialistic, powerplay lifestyles at the expense of their fellow humans. The question, my friend, is WHEN will we see? And then: WHAT are we going to do about it? Inspired words inspire words. -MVS "Learn to let go of fear, doubt, and disbelief..." --THE MATRIX |

First I'd like to extend my apologies to you all for not being able to reply sooner as I had troubles with my net connection. ~Starttime~ I'm humbly thrilled with your very kind and wonderful response.... It tears my heart to see all that we have to see now and yet stand helpless. Thank you sooooooo much ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Noah Eaton~ I too hope dearest that we'd learn to see and do and resolve all that we face. The world seems to be united now with this huge burden of sadness. Thank you for the warm hugssss, I think I need them .....and thousands warm big {{{{{huggs}}}}}} to you sweet friend. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Sven~ yes.......to open our eyes. But do we really have much choice to do so when we are surrounded by this endless masquerade and puppets shows that make everything seem fuggy and unclear? Thank you as ever dear friend....I've poured out my heart here and you have all gently listened. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Sunshinemist~ Thank you for reading and for you kind words. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Enchantress~ Thank you for sharing in this pain....... May all our tears be dried soon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Mark~ My ever intellectual and thought-evoking friend. So many questions..... How would we choose to see?.....How can we change these blurry glasses we wear? and would we be allowed to do that.....to really see, masses as we have always been? And then when We really see, what would we do about it?.....Isn't it possible that such knowledge silence its bearer and paralyzes him even more than ever and add him to that list of soulless materialistic "decision makers"?? And most importantly when would we find the answers to all these questions....... Your inspired words and questions inspire more questions.... Take care my friend & thank you soooo much for your wonderful addition. ******************************* [This message has been edited by MyEnchanted_Melody (edited 10-15-2001).] |
