There's no more words. None left to say. I loved you, loved you anyway... like a dancer charming snake... I forgot the bite's heartbreak. Something leaden, in me grows... like switchblades for the thorn of rose. I tire now of my own tears-- and all my words are just veneer-- I tire of myself in love-- you search below, I search above... I want to hear the poetry sentence sang in harmony... Don't speak to me of theories as your eyes caress my thigh... I thought that you were different-- I thought that you were heaven sent. I thought too much again it seems. I do so hate to wake from dreams... |
