Follow The Tears. Watching the tears of my broken spirit Streaming along meandering endlessly I gaze upon my confused frown, shattered Moved to the window of the rising sun I watched in awe a lonely sparrow Shaking in the early morning rain Raindrops running along its weak body It seemed to ask me to stop the rain I walked outside to face another day Bent from the wind across my path forcing me to stop, was a new rose I straightened it, as a drop of rain fell From its heart into my hand. Closing my hand I kept that moment I know that another day will come When the tears from my eyes And the raindrops will meet again As the wonder of nature unveils The real story of sadness Telling me to follow the tears For at the end of that journey There will be a beautiful lake Made of tears and raindrops Where angels and butterflies meet Where rainbows begin their journey Into the hearts of the hurting And sunrise last forever Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love (Daniel J D) [This message has been edited by Daniel J D (edited 07-12-2001).] |

You took the sad fact that 75% of this planet is covered in moisture and sculpted a hopeful conclusion. Enjoyed. |

luffly!! simply luffly! I'd change the word 'knew' to 'know' in the 4th stanza, 2nd line, I think. |

Marge, Anne, Kathleen, Cpat, Thank you all for the kind words, following the tears of our lives may be a very long journey, however, as I said in the end there is reality. Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love |

Charisma, RS, Vas, and Paula, Likewise thank you. Vas thanks for the advice, I have changed the word. When following the tears take control. Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love |
