ok,
I’m
listening

waiting
to
hear
the
sound
of
your
voice

I’m
listening

waiting
to
hear
the
beat
of
your
heart

I’m
listening

waiting
to
hear
the
draw
of
your
breath

I’m
listening

waiting
to
hear
the
steps
of
your
soul

ok,
I’m
listening

To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world.

I really like this Sven, I can almost see the listener waiting.... in fact... I think the poem could do without the words "waiting" since the poem gives the feeling of waiting so well without them. Just my opinion of course...

Tonight on Temptress's Library Spotlight, we have Sven's very sweet silence of a listening ear. Did I mention how he is an excellent listener?

Sven,

This is lovely and speaks volumes.  What woman wouldn't love a man who not only has lovely words to share but will listen, too?  Such a perfect combination!

I also love the style you chose to display this one...very effective.

Temptress, remind to tell you just how wonderful a person you are ok??

Cerenity, it's really a pain isn't it??  But, I suppose it's worth it all in the end. . . thank you. . .

Janette, thank you. . . but, you'd be surprised how many people really are just the opposite. . .
