Sweet Succulence Virginia Salter whispers make their way through the trees whisking morning past the sunrise toward the mid of day branches, twigs doing jigs delightfully in play tick-tocking bird feeders metronome the seconds by calling time of interlude to intrude the hour’s lie yet off away in glisten bright a butterfly in random flight giggles past the busy bee who will not see the charm in clover nor think much over the succulence of glee © July 24, 2001 |
