I Await Thee |

I await thee, Here beneath the veils Of crisp leaves weeping Down to touch my face. I have it still, The rose of last we met My love keeping fresh The petals, blushing red I look for you, The butterflies bounce My anticipation grows Nigh to trembling, inside I wonder if you, Know the softness of heat Within the pit of my breath Beyond it, is where we rest I hope that you, Will never elude The chance to explore The offering of the tide I need you still, The scent of your hand Pressed gently to my lips And yet, the years melt away I want you still, Casting off to shining shores No doubt, No craving less I choose you, in stranded wake I await thee, I await thee still Of rounded love been round For no one can take Your heartseat, My husband |

Enthralled by love and devotion... Lucky is one who experiences such gifts. Nice flow, Regina. -MVS "When you tell the Truth, you never have to remember what you just said." |

Regina, I like a woman who knows what she wants- and in the Love Department it look like you've got some very definite notions. A beautiful read, David Every Day's a Blessing |

This poem is beautiful! Your words are loving and sweet. I enjoy! There is no grand design that limits what we can be, or guarentees it coming. |

Dear Mark: I am blessed and gifted with a wonderful mate. Thank you for reading I had to share. Sue: I'm so glad I provoked your feelings here. You too have so much passion in your flowing words. I appreciate you and connect from just one read of your verse. Sincerely, Regina |

Dear David: You are wonderful for my spirit. Yes, (Blush) I still anticipate the return of my husband coming home. I do know what I want. Exceptionally well, thanks to God above. He has a way of making things very clear. Blue December: I love your name by the way, It reminds me of The first cold wind bringing in snow in our part of the world. (Days off from Work Yeahhhh!)Thank you for your kindness and comments. |

This is the kind of (married love) everyone yearns for. How beautifully you've dipped your pen in the passion of your soul and wrote a winner. Perfect imagery of true love. Looking forward to more of your talent. ((~.~)) |
