A cool breeze careses my cheek As I gaze with wonderment at the endless night sky. Gentle thoughts float across my mind, Bringing with them questions, But... questions could do naught but detract From the beauty of the heavens. [This message has been edited by Mishtheelf (edited 07-18-2001).] |

Lovely thoughts Mishtheelf ... sometimes we need to turn off the questions and simply gaze in awe to the heavens, beautiful indeed. Reminds me to pause now and again in appreciation, thank you. Best wishes, /Kit [This message has been edited by Kit McCallum (edited 07-18-2001).] |

Sometimes, questions can add to the beauty, for in their questioning, the awe can be expanded and further appreciated, so long as the focus is not tipped to favor solely the questions posed... Captures a memory.. mm, I know what u mean, I question things too often.. one of my friends and I were lying watching the sky at night time, and we ended up having a full blown conversation about.. I can't even remember what.. provoked by the stars.. But Mark's right, sometimes, the more you understand something, the more you can admire it. Personally, I just like the moment.. and just being there is the amazing bit. Short and thoughtful. well done -Lynne “One word can be magical. Imagine then, the effect of several words, together..” |
