Some have pledged that they will not rest until all lives have been accounted for i will never realise the hell they must be in~ the sheer desperation to fight against time to rescue fallen brothers, the explosive anxiety as they tread cautiously, apprehensive of collapsing rubble, the frustration to keep their morale high, as their efforts do not match success as dust and smoke hampen their progress as nature mocks them and delivers pounding rain the emotional scars they bravely and willingly endure at digging out charred body parts i wish we are all telepathic so that they can know someone at the other end of the world salutes their resilience and is rooting for them @faterider much thanks to paladin's poem "dedicated to the rescuers"..their efforts are deeply appreciated [This message has been edited by faterider (edited 09-17-2001).] |

A daunting task so few us us are equipped for. How terrible to find merely parts of people and keep the hope of finding someone whole in this mess. God grant these heros peace at the end of this gruesome episode in the shame of man. |

Kaile~ 'the sheer desperation to fight against time to rescue fallen brothers, the explosive anxiety as they tread cautiously, apprehensive of collapsing rubble, the frustration to keep their morale high, as their efforts do not match success as dust and smoke hampen their progress as nature mocks them and delivers pounding rain' Thank you ... it is heart breaking to watch the search~ We have to keep the vigil for those who do the searching~ Efforts of heroic proportions ... though to them it is an act of 'brotherhood'. God bless them all~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Yesh, I agree that this is sad, the efforts made are so touching. That the bonds of brotherhood does exist even when we thought the world is just a cold and real place. And your poem dear, very well written. cant wait to have enough time to read all that you've written |
