It's splashed across the headlines
The D.C. intern's missing,
Do you know where she could be?
And who has she been kissing?

Many on the missing list
Yet to be found among the lost,
Will you help us in our search?
(Did they lose their way, or just get tossed?)

Missing are the Morals
Which made our nation great,
Tell me have you seen them?
Oh what could be their fate?

Missing is true Respect
For authority,
Where was it lost along the way?
Will it's comeback we see?

Missing are the solid Homes
With active Mom's and Dad's,
And a close knit family
It's loss is very sad!

Missing are great masses
Oh won't you help us find,
Those to their God devoted
Loving Him with heart and mind?

Intregity is missing
But do we really care
That our leaders take advantage
With shameful flings, affairs?

Missing is our Nation
The one that Could be ours,
Will you not seek to find her
Devoting all your powers?

Yes, the search goes on
And Truth will yet prevail
Search it out and seek the good
Lest missing it, You fail!

Your poem on our throw-away society, where there is no sanctity for life, no respect for others and misuse of power ALL lead to the destruction of our once great nation. I hope that your voice is heard and responded to, that we may turn back to the principals this nation was founded on. Thoughtful poem here, well done. Dennis

More bulletins such as this should be posted if that's what it takes to find the missing values of our forefathers. This is very well written and I appreciate you sharing it with me.
