The come and go of it Having thrown one’s self Willingly and fast Into a future So as to have a past Liking the way this Feeling feels Wanting to make The senses reel Almost likely Something will come Full circle... Feel the hum We were so close That distance may pole Us together once more.... A common goal Loss of what is to come, No longer trying to revive And keep warm, What won’t survive But all the while, Sensing loss though Fingers still reaching... Not for another, only for you |
