Tall standing towers of glass and steel,
Brought down before us, forced to kneel
Bent by the weight of another's despise
  Terror forced into our lives.
We sing bitterly, we who are left behind
And curse the one's of single mind
Whose purpose unclear yet with dread intent
Have this day precious lives all spent.
We mourn those in passing, who've gone ahead
And live out the following days with dread.
Who could've done this horrible deed?
What hideous evil has this demon freed?
But our feathers are ruffled, our neckhairs stirred
We wait for our leaders to give the word.
We stand now ready, one force under God,
Ready to go where large nations have trod
And serve out God's justice with actions severe
Taking God to the enemy, both far and near.
We will not be conquered, my friends, do you hear?
We will not let the day be ruled by fear.
And we join one another hand in hand
And tell friends of terror, "This will not stand!"

- We will not forget Tuesday, September 11, 2001, nor let these deeds go unpunished.  We pray for those affected directly and indirectly by this tradgedy and at the same time pray pity for those who sought to instill fear in a country whose only fear is in God.  Those who are washed in the blood of the innocent can only be strengthened by it./rse

Thank you for showing strength and resolve. I agree 100%. For Jeremy of flight 93, and all the others who died this week, heros as well as those frozen by fear when confronted by the face of terror, who should never have been sacrificed, we have to find a way to end this international reign of terror, and join hands with our brothers and sisters around the globe in bringing peace and goodwill to all.

Good strong words, when we needed them. I am a peace loving person, but this cannot continue, nor go unanswered.
Take care

my only hope is that more innocent lives in Afghanistan dont have to be spent as a consequence of our retaliation

As surely as the innocents fell in this country ... there may very well be innocents that are felled in other countries ...
and if we Americans have have any tears left ...
we will shed some for them too.

God bless and guide us all~
