Tears from heaven rained down today
reaffirming, a compassionate God.
God suffers too, as we all do,
for the souls lost upon New Yorks sod.

But rest assured, out of evil comes good.
United with God, we'll see this through.
Today our hearts may be heavy,
But through Gods word we know what to do.

We'll endure, we'll fight, we'll win.
A better tomorrow we will all see.
For this is our country! Together we stand!
From all evil, God will set us free.
