My country, my home, my life carefree
my world apart from tirrany
my world of freedom, my world with no pain
after this morning, it will never be the same

Once there was a life, and now its gone
the result of a twisted terrorists bomb
No man to blame no person to see
just ruins of a life, you took from me

An american I am and I stand proud and strong
and sing out loud my national song
you'll never taint or take my world from me
its what we know in the land of the free....

thinking of you all over there in the u.s
