Black September Morn

You can’t put these emotions into words
without sounding vulgar -
shock, horror, grief, anger;
terror on this scale
is beyond understanding.

Understanding all,
how the Lord must be weeping.
It should be raining everywhere,
there should be thunder and wrath
far beyond that which shook this land,
this free land,
on this black September morning.

Morning of mourning,
under billowing, smoke filled skies,
we wait for the silence to come,
to begin once again.

Once again, we are the innocents,
and we are still strong,
still strong, unified,
and when this is finally over,
we will have won.

There may indeed be a new date that will live in infamy. . . September 11, 2001

God be with us all. . .

There are no words... bitter or vulgar to express the horror and the loss of such acts... we can try and expound on or express our feelings in some small way to the actions of today... but no words will capture what is felt by all...

My heart...my prayers... to all...

I to have no words to describe the feelings, only I am taking comfort in knowing that God is a God of justice, and those responsible will pay for what they have done. Right now all we can do is hold each other's hands and pray.

Corinne, the Lord is indeed weeping BUT
He will judge and HIS time will not be halted, He is in control, God help us, I am also terrified but prayer....prayer and realizing that ...oh God, I can't keep typing, I'm crying.....God bless you
