Another Day Another day , Mine for the taking I should be outside But I find myself wishing That you were at my side As I listen to the birds of song I can feel you coming along The feelings are growing stronger Making my night shorter and my days longer I wish you were here So I could hold you near Letting me feel your body heat I would even fix you something to eat Would dinner for two, be okay No, there is no hidden price to pay Would you like something light The lights, yes there will be candle light To keep away the evil night May I run you a nice warm bath No, I have never been down this path Yes, You can have bubbles You can even have strawberry flavored bubbles Yes, you can have any amount of time Would you like some wine To help you relax before we dine Yes, the Livingston cellars would be fine No, You don't get to help with the dishes This night is for MY wishes I just want to treat you like a lady To have you around for just one night Would be heavenly delight You are my Princess, You wishes are my desires, So please do with me as you wish There will be nothing that is in excess Yes , there will be soft music to feed the mind Yes, we will dance, even if it is just in my mind Alan |
