He was a lonely soul little love did he show
His rock hard convictions had made him cold

Without laughter he was a solemn soul
He lived as if alone in his lifeless inner hole
While all around him was a world to behold
For false pride had sold his soul
He deemed all others childish
Out of control

He lived his life in his shadow filled hole
That he created to ease his courage less soul

Then one day
A group of caring people took hold
They shared their feelings of old
His heart began to unfold

He gave up control
He based his new life on the love he had found
It shed new light on his soul
He was bold
He told stories to deep to be told

New warmth filled his soul
Giving him courage
Transforming him as a whole

Like a flower he grew
Becoming a new soul
He gave thanks to the Lord
And to all as a whole
