Thanks For Nothing

She'll be telling you tomorrow,
and past the yelling and the sorrow
realize you lost her years ago.

She's paid your cost in tears and so,
and now she's going to break away.

Divorce is knowing how to say
"Goodbye and thanks for nothing."

And..thanks for making me start my life completely over and thanks for leaving the responsibility of the kids with me and thanks for never being there much in the first place.

Okay, I'm done now.

painful piece, I know how you feel, and it does lessen over time, some.

Peace.
