Your Touch

I miss the way your spirit flies
the beauty glassed behind
the mirrored look of shadows dark
from deep within your mind

The kiss goodnight of two hearts loved
the limbo state, devoid
reflecting only passing thoughts
a mysting once enjoyed

The sensory that rises still
enchanting dreams secured
to carry me through nighttime falls
in memories obscured

Unclear they are, remote at times
the distance being great
the blurring of, the meanings hid
the fate that I await

I bargain for, expecting not
an ever-after find
but chance the take of shadows dark
from deep within your mind.

This makes me think that there are many times that our hand should just reach up and push the curtains aside, and go forth...

well done Maureen...
