peering out from behind the tangles of a twisted vine, I watched your eyes dancing about, in spite of the stare of wildflowers... among the gusts of a balmy breeze, you moved ahead of your own steps, dreaming of the ocean that has cleared storms which threatened shadows over your cradle of cherish, filled with those moments you’ve collected from undergone treasures and suffered distances. moving a stray twist from my face, the blur gave me a brighter picture of you in the rain-- the drizzle of familiarly foreign mist-- embracing the dusting of solitude. as yet another dangling rope got between me and the vision of you roaming our canvas, my impatience caught your attention, and I was forced to come out from behind the veil and confess my admiring... with one finger to my lips and a hand to my waist, you drew me into a circle of incorporation to apply what I’ve observed to this endless cycle of attachment... -kh tried to write a letter to tell you how I feel, but all I kept on writing was slipping on the tears from the day... snowpants, stepping out is the only way someone must always take that first step, though it's often easier to hide behind the veil, one can not hide there feelings for an eternity. Awesome poem, I love the imagery used. |
