I breach an unhappy attempt, deftly. Desperate casualness a lone shield, latently smothering the vivid fear pulsating in the air, heartbeat by heartbeat. The Second’s Thought passes in which the cold creeps clammy against my skin, blackness overtakes my cerebral eye and my soul screams from my body in pain. The Second’s Thought passes as I regain composure lost in a moment’s weakness. A step is all that separates my life from an imperceptible doorway downward. Breath by breath, Heart’s Vociferation is drowned in incredible self-loathing and the stroke of protesting muscles drives me, spiraling downwards in pain. Again, I blink the Second’s thought away, drifting in indecision, floundering nearer the edge I indelibly fear, completely loathe. The Thought of the First bears down on me and mansuetude slips across my face in all-encompassing respledence. Heart’s Ellation thrusts final as the Thought of the First claims me. My soul screams in ecstasy. You can't wake a person who is pretending to be asleep. -- Navajo Proverb |

I enjoyed this much, reminded me of self observance of mood, and I'm VEDDY happy to see you post again my friend. You've been a very good boy! So tell me, whaddya want for Christmas? Enjoyed, Phil. |

Very powerful. This is a heavy read for someone on her first cup of coffee I'm coming back to read this tonight when I can appreciate it better. I too, have to go look up mansuetude. Very well written If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

Heya K! Thanks for reading, and I'm glad you liked. I figured since I was going to attempt a deputization, I might as well get back in the mood. You came mighty close on your interpretatin. And for Xmas? I still don't know. LOL Tracey, don't worry, it took me two cups of coffee just to write it. *wink* Marq, normally dress? I can't say I do that. LOL But, sure, I wear that around the house on occasion, just to keep my housemates on their toes. *grins* RosePetal...yes, I've been around. Definitely have been around. Missy N.T. I don't know what to say. I'm shocked, quite really. LOL Don't tell anyone, but I had to look up Mansuetude too. hehehe Zinnser, I'm glad you liked it. My college advisor used that quote for a while as her email signature. I'm sure she doesn't mind that I borrowed it. *grins* Mansuetude: noun - Gentleness of manner, mildness. That's too save everyone else the trouble. *grins* You can't wake a person who is pretending to be asleep. -- Navajo Proverb |
