~~~ What do you see? ~~~ Look at me….. What do you see? Do you see the pounding Heart of me? The rhymes of My mortality? The echoing lines Of my poetry? Do you see The being who lost Herself to the sea The sea Of her own Thoughts And Reverie? What do you see When you read The words of me Streaming On this plain? Do you see The letters Behind the lines All the silent music Behind the rhymes? Do you see me The being Who tries Hard To put down Her thoughts Her emotions Perfectly? ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~ Thank you |

thank you for the poem clever idea and well executed thanks for it it does pose the ? who ever can see anyone else or for that matter can we even see our selves perhaps its all a hall of distorted mirrors or to qoute through a glass darkly arthur |

I don't see -- I SENSE a warm, caring, sincere, and ethereal soul who understands Beauty, Honesty, and expression and has the sensitivity to capture the magical under-currents of the heart and mind and gracefuly display them to our world. (I'd still like to hear your "enchanted melody" -- what key is it in?) -MVS "It's all in the details -- the Big Picture always takes care of itself." |
