standing on a shadow's lace

Torch Of Emotion

it started with a flicker
then the flame grew higher
in no time at all
became a full raging fire

how did this all start
was it an accidental blaze
but when you listen closely
you recognize the phrase

all you can do is watch
as the nightmare begins
frozen in your steps
right until the very end

first you are confused
then the fear sets in
as heat from this fire
burns your skin

try to stop the burn
with water so cool
raging out of control
within its own fuel

burning out of control
starts in the frame
once a torch of emotion
melts foundation under flame

And what a torch of emotion it is too. Very enjoyable reading

Don't stop the fire, let it rip. If you get burn, is all worth it at the end.

You got to love that fire.
I personally could consider
becoming a pyro!

Great Job

As flames lick higher
the end comes nigher
and to souls burned black
there's no turning back.

but out of those ashes . . . ?

Torch Of Emotions.... awesome title to an awesome poem..

it describes how i feeel inside.. sometimes my emotions are a mere pilot light or a match.. but some days i become the raging inferno..the fireball.. the incenerator...
