Dragon Slayer

From yonder castle he rides forth
with finest stallion and sharpest sword.
Tall in the saddle and handsomely dressed
he's debonair and guaranteed to impress.
He's a certified dragon slayer
specializing in rescuing damsels in distress.
Beware I warn you fair maidens living in distress
by mornings light you may be easy to impress
but yonder moon can reveal an evening of distress.
For as sure as this Knight is know as dragon slayer
when midnight comes to dragon land he will reveal himself to be the midnight player.

I like this old fashion conquests, heros, maidens and dragons( you can always be Don Quixote) . Much less complicated than modern day love that's for sure.

Well written. In the first half, I was going to say "hey, send one of those Knights over here". But when I read the end, I thought "no way, I've had PLENTY of those kind of Knights" !!!

What's gonna happen at midnight?? Do tell.

Great read. Enjoyed it immensly

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Thank you catalinamoon, walker and Tracey for reading and responding.
Exactly...some of those dragon slayers are on a quest to see how many dragon's and maiden's they can slay...and they can add more distress to your already stressed out life...choose your knights wisely...James

It is sometimes hard to see the whole person by the light of day. Not two people but the other edge of a two edged sword.....Ladies beware of knights in shining armor, but those with a little rust are ok *S*

A good message, James, and some welcome territory for exploration.
