Magic

My hand reached for yours,
lingered in the air,
quivering inside,
waiting for the thrill
your touch always brings.
Spring danced in the sunlight
filtering through the leaves,
it's radence touching the tips
of my fingers,
hidden by the leaves,
then showing again on my palm.
You reached out,
my soul leaped the space between us,
completed the bond
where your hand pressed against mine.
Magic flowed up my arm,
enveloped my body,
settled in the warmth of love
tenderly stroking my heart,
it's soothing presence
transending time and space,
lending and ethereal auroa
to the corporeal presence
of the two of us
holding hands in the sunlight,
as spring danced in the air.
