In Spite Of Us

In spite of us
The things I have done
The things you have said
I still find thoughts of us
In my heart and my head
Our hearts fit together
Like a hand in a glove
In spite of us
We were born to love
You are my night
I am the day
Without you
I would not be here today
In spite of my fears
I want you near
Our love
Is like the dancing morning lights
In spite of us
Much to my delight
We were born to love

And again I say you cannot use the aka "Icyheart" when you write such lovely thoughts and words as these.   What a beautiful read.

Oops, just saw your explanation of Icyheart on the other post. Don't mind me, I'm now on the second bottle of icewine!!!   (But they're really tiny bottles)

This is lovely Alan...isnt that the way love is at times? In spite of all we do to deny it, or hide from it...it still manages to find an unwilling heart and and unlock the chains

Alan, you better hurry up, the second bottle's going fast   And a mighty fine wine it is I must say. I love IceWine - some find it much too sweet, not me. Picked this one up at a small winery near where I live. Yummy yummy yummy
