My pen becomes the conductor of
my emotions and the feelings within my heart
It is the vessel through which I speak
The written word has such
amazing powers and has the ability
to bring music to the heart
comfort to the sad
and an injection of warmth to the soul

Words can touch even the coldest of hearts
bringing hope to the hopeless
a friend to the lonely
and reassurance to a troubled mind

If my words can touch your heart
Or make an impression on your soul
Then for me as a writer
I've achieved the ultimate goal

Suetang, I think we all hope our words may help another. I think I forget that when I write and think it is only a healing thing for myself. I will try to remember, ME

Words can have such power. Words can bring two people together in love and understanding whom may never have met in person and have learned of each other only through words. I've had many a friendship and relationship start this way. Oh the beauty of words.

this reminds me of one I wrote called "If, Then Reason". It's nice to have a reason to write for not only yourself but for others.

Words are a powerful tool. They can give joy or pain.
In your poetry, you write words that are food for the soul.
