Under the stars upon the wind

0 posted 2001-09-01 01:50 PM

Tangled in the grip of circumstance
Hidden from the view of the sun's rays
Refusing to give what I love a second glance
Caught within the steady swell of days

I forgot a place where thoughts are born.
A place that understands
not through actions, but words.
To this place my heart is sworn.

I come here again this time to stay
Returning to a home of friends from
which I should have never gone away
There is a poem out there which calls my name
and this is how i pray it to always remain..

Jenny, this is a VERY strong poem with a lot of depth -- one of those that with each re-read sinks in a little deeper.  You've got one here I hope many have the opportunity to read, re-read, and contemplate.  Great work!
