As I look at the picture you sent me I get lost in what my mind sees For once my heart is at rest What I see is empty and void Which makes me a little annoyed But at least my heart is at rest On the horizon I see storm clouds I love the lightning if the thunder is not too loud The rain helps hide the pain and tears The waters look like it will be a little rough Which will make today a little tough But that is ok of heartache I have no fears In the solemn stillness of the night Under vague shimmering of starlight My mind will find peace my heart shall rest As I hear the gentle lapping of the waves Brightens even the darkest of my minds caves Bringing to light the feeling that life is best So as I once again turn and walk to the light The darkness and fears take flight for at least one night Though in the distance I can hear the familiar rumbles Making me realize that as long as I live I have to take what life chooses to give Holding on to the hope that my life doesn’t crumble But for now I look at the picture you sent me I get lost in what my mind sees For once my heart is at rest alan aka Icyheart Sept.01 2001 I owe this to a seascape picture my daughter sent me |

On the horizon I see storm clouds I love the lightning if the thunder is not too loud In the solemn stillness of the night Under vague shimmering of starlight My mind will find peace my heart shall rest I really love this Alan. I can almost see the picture too. (I love electrical storms and the beach) Dee I wish you every happiness and may you always have the best of the good things in life. a brand [This message has been edited by Dee (edited 09-01-2001).] |
