Oh, Won't you come sit with me Under the shade of my China Berry tree We will talk and shoot the breeze Under the shade of My China Berry tree Oh, Won't you come sit with me We'll have a slice of watermelon As we bat the breeze Under the shade of my China Berry tree And if the clouds begin to stir And the wind doth blow We'll watch them come And we'll watch them go But if it storms You'll have to leave For it's not safe To be Under a tree Even if it is An Umbrella tree |
