The Tallow of Why I sit upon a picket fence With naught but points of pain and hence All comfort goes its separate way It’s agony that rules my day. And thus each sunset glows in red Each time I lay me down to bed And sleep does not refresh the wear For all that’s there is nightly mare. How deep must ghostly phantoms go? To pan the gold of all I know To dig and mine its deepest shaft And stop my mind from going daft? It only ends in final sweep When darkness takes me up in reap And then it will begin again With lovers in a quiet glen And so I burn the torch of whys That splutters light until it dies. |

AINT GONNA HAPPEN.... I always say..."'why ask why" ... but in your case.. me knows... you already KNOW all the answers... thats why we look towards your wisdom's light *winkiewinkie* me "oh you speak to me in riddles |

Hey Seymour! I have to agree it's a hard job to penetrate the reason in why. You have put this together very cleverly and it's a great reminder to all who read it!! [This message has been edited by ethome (edited 08-29-2001).] |

whys....have you read my mind? as there are a lot of whys teasing me there, now if I could find a torch too to let them fade away. Your words are so true, but it's hard to stop think why. Excellent write sir! Charisma [This message has been edited by Charisma (edited 08-29-2001).] |

JM, You are up nice and early this morning and I thank you for your sweetened pail. For today Once again I hunt the whale. I will bring you a gift from the sea A pretty star fish just for thee. Winkiewinkie, Stinky |

Ethome, Since whys travel in leaps and bounds I'm sure you have seen them around. Thank you my friend for your good reply. Charisma, But you are a torch my dear. *L* |

Sunshine, Thank you my sweet. *L* Illusion. I hope what you wrote is not illusion. LOL Wynter, Yes, for her and him in their own way. Hugs and kisses. Sy Marge, To offer back what you offer me Is litle enough for thee. *L* Sy |
