Within

I walked
along the beach
of blue
tried to follow
footprints left
of you

the wind
had blown them
all away
so on the grains
of blue I lost
my way

couldn’t find
my direction
anymore
aimless to walk
upon the shore

I sat
waiting for the tide
to come in
realizing
the way home
is within
