Anticipation If the moment we’ve dreamed about ever came along and we faced the yield that had aroused us overlong would we recognize it for what it was or would our projection have shaped it into a form more fair that brings a suspension of consent to the treasure offered us and call our illusion to perforce come out of the shadows and heal the confusion? © 2000 Melissa Songer |

Sometimes the fantasies we weave indeed take on a form all their own ... there is much to ponder within these lines Melissa ... very nicely done! Best wishes, /Kit |

Only if I won the lottery, which is not a dream really but a fantasy. I would not know what to do, but gibber. So It wouldn't do me any good. Funny thing about dreams. I woke up one day and realized, I was awake. So I didn't question it anymore. Bliss is easily attained for some. Loved these podering lines. Sincerely, Regina |

Melissa this poem is a great expression of anticipation!......... "that brings a suspension of consent to the treasure offered us and call our illusion to perforce come out of the shadows and heal the confusion?" I love the wording of the above verse!! |
