Respect and tolerance abound
In the sanctuary we’ve built here
Poetic people from round the world
Becoming friends we now hold dear

As the circle ever widens
Drawing strangers into the fold
Hands reach out in welcome to
All poets young or old

Though threatened by the storm
Of bigotry and disdain
Steadfast do we stand
Our freedom we maintain

Passionate is our name
Writing is our common goal
For in this family of friends
Each one completes the whole

Do you want to earn a star
Be a part of the passion's crew
Just ask how you can get one
We'll shine one up for YOU.

I don't think I've gotten a star since, oh, maybe second grade.  That was such a great reward.  So how?

Okay...since Sharon (PdV) has gone off to bed now...just simply go to "member preferences" on your screen? and APPLY...

If I'm not mistaken, though, you have to be a senior member--and the openings right now are for the "Dark Passions" forum.

Now go apply!

This is a little way of helping give back to Passions what so many of us appreciate in this wonderful poetic home daily. If you'd like to lend a helping hand for just a short term ... this is a wonderful way to do it, and we'd love to see you there!

Yep, I only need 16 more.  Let's see how many generic responses I can cook up.

I sure sounds fun to do, but I'm limited on time at the moment, due to the high telephonecosts overhere, so who knows, maybe later, still waiting to hit the Jackpot
