Sitting upon peppercorn rocks The waves are lapping the shore Swelling in spearmint splashes Malting white in cr`eme de sucre Ale in the fall of bay leaves Washing ginger sands to silk In the curry of the sun Rosemary left nothing To the imagination As she dove naked cinnamon Into the sea Until everything began To licorice Beyond the setting sun As her heart was clove with sadness She watched From the shore As the Sugar glazed Moon Dazzled the Night Thyme Sage in the foreboding That this was The last dip As the breezes grew chili In the powder of twilight |

What an enjoyable tasty treat! I loved the imagery, and could almost smell sweet sage in the air. The sage scent is the one I miss the most, having moved from the coast of So California to Interior Alaska five years ago. Thanks for the sweet memories. |

Just the perfect verse to add spice into this day. Wonderful use of metaphors and I most certainly enjoyed the imagery in this piece. It flows as smoothly as the softest feathered quill. Superb! |
