From the Mouths of Babes and Poets

The art of cultured eloquence
The beauty of a phrase
Is sculptured by intelligence
Refined in former days

Nothing can inspire us
Nor stir the spirit’s core
Like the pure aesthtic sound
Of crystal phrases being poured

The grace of hand in chronicles
Or great historic speech
Are heights to which the tentacles
Of scholars seldom reach

The ramblings of an orator
Are twitterings of birds
From the mouths of babes and poets
Come the most enchanting words

Royal courts had official poets. Books of famous quotes contain more poets than otherwise. Truth comes to play here and I am finding that not everyone wants to hear it. Enjoyed

THank you dear poets for your outstanding poetry and your inspiration, and if you want true poetic license, listen to a 3 year old.
What beautiful phrases they concoct.
Thank you for your kind comments
