Forgotten Trips

you coursed
blueskied
watered ways
map-less,
no strain, but
following a northern
star, knew you
were following
a flow
that would lead
to de Leon's
treasures

you asked for
guidance, so,
your fingers taken
in weave of mine
I helped you
trace your
course

do you
remember all
of this, or
is that reverie but
a sound of
thunder in your
distance
