Alone

I stand alone, uniquely me,
no aid or support, just alone and free
from the range of your arms,
the touch of your grasp
narrow in thoughts, I am in contrast.

Independently me, I am solitaire
a diamond though rough, needs shaping and care.
On the ridge of my life,
drugged by the feel
waiting alone, I am singularly real.

Always
Loving
Only
Nothing's
Easy

just a play on a few words....
~Wynter

like the play of words...and like the poem..
and if always loving.. though nothing is easy... you will find the peace and the love you too deserve...

This lovely poem mimics your "handle" - naked thoughts. You've opened your mind and laid bare your innermost thoughts - a dangerous, but courageous thing to do, when so many poets hide such poems in their desk's lap drawer.

Open and tenderly write this ones a gem.

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.

Rough?  Nay, finely polished and many faceted.  Sparkling in the moonlight and dazzling in the sunlight, that is Maureen
