Heart broken, no bandage left,
To bind together the scattered pieces,
Tears fall forming a river of regret,
Time has stolen my heart, nowhere to start,
Ripped to shreds not even held together by a single thread,
So this is love, how could I hunger for this pain,
For never have I had anything to gain,
I feel as it I've gone insane.
Now I sit here, tattered, as if it really
even mattered, no one to blame, I doubt it.

RB this just aches off the page ...
and yes... it does feel like we've gone insane when we hurt this much...
writing it out always helps me, I hope its that way for you too...for it does matter.
take care

Thank you so much JM, you always know how to comfort others and you'll never know how much it means,
Interloper, thank you writing does seem to help me, even though sometimes when I look back the pain is reflected.
