It's  Just  Home  Decorating

Spider webs, dust bunnys, clutter every where
Where do I begin, where do I begin
How did they get here, what reason are they there
When I looked last time where would they have been

The spider webs hold the corners together you see
And when the spiders done spinning, the web is mine
I can spray paint it gold, even add glitter maybe
Then enjoy the corner from dark to sunshine

Dust bunnys have a job to do so don't disturb
So busy as they multiply as quick as a wink
I suppose I could sweep them to the curb
But I'll keep enough so in the softness sink

A clean house may be your goal in this life
While mine is to let all things grow and be free
I'm free to be me as you live with your strife
I have spider webs and dust bunnys.  It works for me

Mother Earth
I couldn't agree more as I believe each and every house must have character and that is of the utmost importance.  I loved this piece.  Take care......Sue

Sue, if I got rid of all the dust and webs, I think my house would fall down!  Thanks for the answer.

Very much enjoyed, I always wonder how those critters got in but there welcome as long as they don't bit!!

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.

Shadow, I have begun to wonder if it is any use cleaning.  Of course, my husband won't agree with this.

Wonderful and clever.

Thank y'all for the answers.  Spray paint can cover a lot of flaws.  This was a fun write.  And, my kid, I have no secrets.....do I?

yes, I was looking at my desk top and the area surrounding my desk and my computer center the other day. I found myself thinking, that looks just like my mind. Reams of things all piled up in random order, some covered with dust, others layered between obsolete items that need sorting and tossing...but who can toss way mind parts, they just seem to go when they're ready and not before. Some never go no matter how hard we try to eliminate them. That what spider webs and dust bunnies do, too. They hang around in the corners and crevices making it more challenging for one to find just exactly what's needed. Yep, my house is like my mind, only I hope my mind's not THAT dirty.

I think you should share this idea with Martha Stewart !
She'd find some way to make a $bundle$ off of it !

Well OF COURSE we would expect this kind of "au Natural" house keeping from mother earth
very cute and clever indeed....
Leave the cobwebs...its almost Halloween
and Marge is right...better get a patent and beat Martha to the jump.
great fun M.E.
