Gentle brush feather touch of skin or silk on skin to remind me I am desired No reason but wanting us Why do I have to ask? Absence no fonder heart needs wait on under breath mutterings you can not hear from there I reach but fingers and feelings far too short to grasp comfort end in cupped palmed begging Touch me? wondering if my touch is as empty as my hands |

Well done my friend. Does desire exceed our grasp and are feelings limited to tactile ecnounters? This is Monday and I really didn't want to think this hard ... now I gotta go contemplate my navel again ... |

With poetry like this, your hands should never be empty...and this, Sir, shall fill many a heart... well done... |

Why do I have to ask? Why, indeed? Touch is the one thing that reminds us why we're here. Enjoyed this. |

If this poem were a sound, I would hear it as a trains distant whistle through a dark, quiet night. |

Others must give too, to keep us from always coming up empty handed. For this is the result of longing from a very abundant heart. Sometimes people become comfortably numb. Leaving others to think they've nothing to offer. I don't believe that in you C. No way! Sincerely, Regina |

Greetings once more, Ron! I do miss your poetry -- just been called to Life's attention lately... Once more, you have expressed so much with so little -- encapsulating an urgent need for acknowledgement and Love with but a few carefully crafted descriptions, true to "The Ron Style". Well done (and I'm still waiting to hear when your collection of poetry is due out so I can buy the first autographed copy!)
