On this morning As clouds skid quickly Across an icy sky Leaving behind them Trails of cold tears To quench the fires Now burning in trees The promise of quiet Days and cold nights Fills my heart. During this day As thunder rumbles Through air thick with The sounds of moaning Winds and protesting Denizens of the forest The images of summer are all but forgotten. After the light Has faded into gloom Filled with shadows darker Still than those cast by memories Buried in a tomb of favored Forgetfulness, Only the dreams of changing Seasons sustains the weary. |

Keeping us safe in the only thing consistent. Change. So glad you see the cycle as a growing pain. Wonderfully done dear Sir! Sincerely, Regina |
