if I could capture the scent of rain and hold it in a clear glass jar I'd save it for a sunny day when my heart longs for rain I'd open it so so carefully shaking the scent to the bottom then I'd bring the jar right to my nose and just i-n-h-a-l-e the fresh clean air it'd remind me of you and me dancing under cloud filled skies splashing through the puddles like a couple of overgrown kids I can never feel rain on my skin and not be touched by who you are |
