Napping

Whispering white washing waves
Ever ebbing in seismic displays
See them lapping
at the keel and stern

Are they ghosts of this past storm
Or are they a new tempest
Just formed

Rocking gentle rocking
I close my eyes
And mentally dis-form
Dreaming silent dreams
Of another day
Enjoying each moment
That life has formed

All at once
The screech of the reel
(Drag set light)
The shrill sound sets my heart to stir
I straighten myself
For the coming fight

Oh yes I have dinner
I have dinner tonight

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.

Shadow~
This is great .....
Makes me either want to be GONE FISHIN~ or NAPPING~

Hmmmmm !
Never thought about combining the two !

Sort of gives a new twist to the ringing of the alarm !
Enjoyed muchly~

Thanks Marge, just tie a bell on the tip of the rod. Hehe

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.
