Mirror Of The Oasis By: Noah Eaton 7/7/01 Wherever the cygnet rests her eggs The golden gander resides deep within Fledglings of grace hatching in ones hidden valley The latter taste Trinity offers absorbed in paternal reason In a mind where focus varies from a parents own And the sandstorms that bury that joy beneath insight is insatiable Ever lies a small but genuine jewel Rising above a vast region of lethe, where the beacon is shackled What is first seen as a mirage to the eyes of a youth Grows to be a faint whisper as camouflage unfolds Compensating for the loss of innocence and the gravest sorrows released A holy grail to thirst upon, such an antique to behold Blind ambitions we all may see, but all creations have reversals The blind can see in approaching His reflection, fellowship imbuing darkness Not merely a wishing well, but a tool of enlightenment Quenching the thirst for faith to surmount our greatest fears and anguish Gods eye rests inside you, awakening to recognition His love but your peripheral vision, clear to acquiring The next time sorrow leaves your heart feeling desolate Remember His mirror lies on your soul’s oasis, where His word is echoing |

Noah~ This is just so lovely. Your command of vocabulary is astounding. You not only draw the image, you color it too ! Beautiful thoughts. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
